Greener’s Matt Wojtech and Steve Tucker were recent guest lecturers in Marty Golden’s Packaging Machinery class at Rutgers University. Working with both Packaging Engineering and other Engineering students, Matt and Steve explained the sealing, cutting, and forming components on flow wrappers and vertical FFS baggers; detailed how these machine functions interact with different flexible packaging materials; and discussed how sealing jaw designs can optimize the seal range of these materials.
